Zone Assault’s basic shields give it a significant edge when compared to Shockwave in skirmishes versus defending Seekers. Zone Assault uses the Bot Launcher that you were given when you enlisted. Upgrade your Bot Launcher to improve this formation’s survival rate and QONQR battle zones more quickly.

Zone Assault has the highest per-bot rate for experience gained from each launch. If you want to level up fast, Zone Assault is the answer. It is also the most well balanced formation with Damage and Shields being equal at Zone Assault 1, with damage outpacing the increase in shields as this formation levels up to Zone Assault 5.

Zone Assault has solid survivability numbers, but maximize your scopes survivability and nearly half your bots will survive their initial launch. With this offensive formations high shield value, survivors will remain in the zone as a decent defense. Zone Assault while not as powerful as Shockwave, has a longer range for extending the battle to medium distance zones.
